STOP PRESS - Nemasys shortages

The exceptional weather conditions this year has caused a shortage of nematodes at the UK suppliers. The Nemasys product to combat VINE WEEVIL and CHAFER BUG are affected. When you reach the order form you will find the next available delivery date for Nemasys vine weevil killer is 19th August and the next available delivery date for Nemasys chafer bug killer is 1st September. However these delivery dates will still give you plenty of time to get your lawns, beds and pots treated this Autumn. The best time to treat over-wintering soil bugs is August to September, and it is important to make sure the ground is kept damp for the nematodes to thrive.

Spider Mite is here!

Spider mites can cause havoc among plants in hot weather. The telltale signs are the cream marbling on the leaves followed by dieback. The mites then make visible webs over the plant and use them as ladders to travel to the next area. Catch them early and tackle them with predators. Our killer pack contains Phytoseilus persimilis, which are tiny, tiny creatures almost invisible to the naked eye which hunt out the plant spider mites and will continue to eat them up all summer long. more about controlling spider mite
